The Law Offices of Daniel S. Rakofsky exists to provide special clients with legal advice, services, advocacy, and counsel in a wide variety of matters.

Attorney and Counselor at Law Daniel Rakofsky is a member of the Florida Bar as well as the Federal Bar of the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Rakofsky entered the practice of law after honorably retiring from a successful career in law enforcement where he worked his way from patrol officer to detective, as well as sergeant and lieutenant, and ultimately served his last eight years as a police captain in a large Florida municipality. Mr. Rakofsky attended law school at night at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center, and graduated in 2008. Since his retirement at the end of 2011, and in a total of 25 years of government service, Mr. Rakofsky has also served as a consultant/coordinator to the Florida Department of Children and Families in 2013-2014, and is adept at troubleshooting within the state’s child welfare system. Mr. Rakofsky has now directed his focus on providing his legal services and experienced counsel to families who are dealing with the difficult dynamics of Divorce, Child Support, Alimony, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, adoption, and all related areas. Because of Mr. Rakofsky’s unique experiences within public safety, police investigations and child welfare, the health and welfare of the family members, and specifically children, are greatly emphasized, and collaboration, when possible, is suggested for our clients.
